This is an M-65 field jacket made by ALPHA INDUSTRIES (Alpha Industries), manufactured around 1988-1993.
A rare old tag with a red line × MADE IN U.S.A. model.
The number of these is decreasing even in the United States, and the price is definitely going up.
The outer fabric is 100% cotton, and the aging process that adds character the more you wear it is attractive.
The lining is a poly-cotton blend, and the details, such as the Scovill brass zipper and the stowaway hood, are still the same as they were then.
The color is a pale beige tone.
It's not clunky, and if you pair it with jeans or baker pants, you can instantly achieve a "stylish military style."
