This is the large version of Heavenly Angel at 6.75” tall and the trademark places the manufacture of this piece Circa 1963/64 – 1972. This figurine is in perfect shape. It has no repairs, blemishes, crazing or mars. It is in MINT condition, a fine piece to add to a any collection.
This angel was first crafted by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1935. She was originally called “Little Guardian” or “Celestial Messenger” and was among the first 46 pieces released in 1935. It is an extremely colorful and detailed porcelain figurine made by the fabulous craftsmen at the Goebel factory so very long ago! There is such beautiful detail in this hand painted figure - so typical of the quality of Goebel's porcelain figurines.
