Project started in mid 1990s to locate and restore black cast films shown in segregated movie theaters before the civil rights act of 1964. We think the best years were before 1940 so the 1st volume of the "Chitlin Circuit" Race Film Series is 1929 thru 1940. You have never seen anything like this and the entertainment and historical value will amaze you. Much work went into the restoration of these films and you will be pleased with what we were able to do. Everything about this set from the packaging, graphics and content is "over the top" good so rest assured that this is a set to cherish forever and pass on to future generations.
